·         Adult nurses in the NHS will usually start at band 5, with a current starting salary for a registered general nurse of £22,128

·         Experienced senior nurses who have achieved additional qualifications can earn significantly more, depending on their role. In the NHS a Senior Nurse can earn between £40,428 and £48,514 per year (Band 8)
